The One You Feed with Eric Zimmer
Eric Zimmer, amid his life as a husband, father, and software development consultant, is the host of the popular podcast The One You Feed. He gets the title of his podcast from a popular Native-American parable, in which an elderly man tells his grandson that a battle rages between two wolves that dwell within everyone. One of the wolves is evil – possessing the worst qualities imaginable, such as anger, jealousy, and self-pity – while the other is good, filled with joy, love, compassion and faith. After pondering this for a moment, the boy asks his grandfather “Which wolf wins?” To which he replies, “the one you feed.” Eric’s podcast explores what “creating a life worth living” means, and asks his listeners to ponder their own meanings of what exactly that is.
